Night Angels of Mont Fleur

We dont see them, but know that they have been. Saying thanks to the ladies that visit our rooms at night while we are having dinner. Have been wonderful coming back from dinner to a turned on heater, opended bed, hot blanket and switched on bed light. Truly made me feel at home.

High 5 - Dinner out

Just a word of thanks to Pat, Colin and Pravesh for once again taking us out to dinner. We gained a few more pounds, ate exotic food but the most important part was that we had a wonderful time with our friends.

Research Genres and Research Space

Found this mornings presentation on research genres and research space very interesting and informative and will be applying these suggestions in my studies. As Lucia said genres are "Forms of life, ways of being". Also "Genres are the familiar places we go to create intelligible communication actions with each other". Will without a doubt be requesting Swales "Research genres" to learn more on the subject. Also learned a lot about Create-a-research-space Model. Will in future be evaluating my research propsal according to this model.
